Our History
Established in 2023 by student organizers at Stanford University, the Survivors Pro Bono is a legal organizing initiative born out of a need for better support for survivors in university Title IX systems. Our work was inspired by the organizing of survivors and allies before us, including Chanel Miller, Alexis Kallin, and Lea Francis. Our goal is to be a block in the foundational infrastructure necessary to prevent sexual violence on college campuses.
